Mediterranean Lentils & Blogger Potluck
Over the past few months, the Dallas area food bloggers have been forming friendships and creating a community for us to exchange ideas, cheer each other on, and talk food. We haven’t all had the opportunity to meet in person, so Natalie of Natalie’s Killer Cuisine decided to host a potluck so we could all gather together and really get to know one another. It was a terrific afternoon filled with laughter, food, and new friends.

Colorful Lentil Soup
When you think of the first day of spring, what comes to mind? Tulips? Sunshine? Margaritas on the patio? Well, that’s what I think of when I ponder spring. I guess Mother Nature had another idea. She sure likes to remind us Texans that she’s in charge. We all woke up on the first day of spring to bitter cold wind and the possibility of snow, which turned into a reality about 7:00 that night. The biggest irony is that the temperatures were in the 70′s on Friday and were expected to be there again by Monday. The weather here always amazes me.
